June 30, 2023 sees Harrison Ford return as Indiana Jones for the last time in Dial of Destiny, but this year sees the return of Ke Huy Quan in the Oscar-chasing Everything Everywhere All At Once. We were very happy to see impromptu Temple of Doom reunion at D23 when Indy and Shorty reunited after nearly 40 years, and looking back at that moment in a chat with Mike RyanFord was very clear to let it be known that he was rooting for his former co-star when the Oscar nominations started coming in.
MR: That photo you took with Ke Huy Quan a few months ago, which made a lot of people happy. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom reunion…
HF: Oh yes. Yes, it was nice to see him. I mean … I had a chance to see the movie. He is really good in his movie. And I’m glad to see him … and what he is. I’m so happy for him. He is also a happy person.
MR: Yeah, he just got a best supporting actor award win from the New York Film Critic Circle, and he’ll probably get an Oscar nomination.
HF: And deservedly so! Worthy.

Indeed, and we’ll be crossing our fingers come Sunday March 12th when the Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
