Valheim

  • Genre: Live

Valheim is one of the most popular games to be released in 2021 and for good reason. This survival action game is built on an open world filled with exploration opportunities. The game is set in a Viking-inspired purgatory with procedurally generated worlds, so things won’t be the same every time you play.

There are many activities in this game to fill your time. Build Viking longhouses, kill monsters, tend your garden (because Vikings need to eat too). Valheim supports from 1-10 players so you can bring some friends along if you want.

Detroit: Become Human

  • Price: $19.99
  • Genre: Action, Adventure

Detroit: Become a superhero by giving players the throne and letting them lead the story. Player selection is a big part of how things shake out in this game. And if you enjoy that kind of control when it comes to storytelling, you’ll love Detroit: Become Human. The rundown is that by the year 2038, humans have developed androids that are more advanced than humans, not more than slaves to them.

You play the role of three different androids during the game. And every decision you make affects the end result. The game has a serious story but it’s a story worth knowing.

Wandering

Where to start with Stray. Perhaps the first, although obvious, must be mentioned is playing as a walking cat. Hence the name. It’s a good setup for regular work. The game starts with you and your family of stray cats enjoying your time in the sun in a post-apocalyptic world where humans are nowhere to be found.

Besides early in the morning you will be separated from your fellow felines and have to find your way back. A great adventure with good storytelling and fun game mechanics really make this game worthwhile. Based on the Verified game on Deck and play a lot on the go.

Final Thought XII: The Zodiac Year

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is an underrated title in the long history of JRPGs. Although I think it really flies under the radar as a secret. And I think a lot of people would agree. Final Fantasy VII is probably my favorite, but Final Fantasy XII is full of fun thanks to a simple world setting, and a variety of characters that are easy to grow attached to.

This version of the game comes with HD audio playback, true 7.1 surround sound, up to 60 frames per second and many other features that the original does not have. Also, this is a JRPG and it’s Final Fantasy. So download and prepare for many hours of gameplay to fill your time with fun.

Also, for the Steam Winter sale the game is half off and is confirmed on the Deck, making it one of the best games to get for the Steam Deck in the sale.

Sekiro: Double Death

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is one of the best ghost-like titles released by FromSoftware. It features exciting gameplay that no other game from the studio has.
