Can the Ford Maverick go off-road?

And it really does make some big changes to this compact pickup. The Maverick Tremor comes with a 1.0-inch lift, a retuned AWD system, and a few other off-road goodies. Unfortunately, it’s only available on the XLT and Lariat trims.
If the Tremor package sounds like too much, there’s also the FX4 Off-Road package. While not as extreme as the Tremor, it adds an improved cooling system for rugged driving conditions.
Small trucks are back in America
If you’ve been longing for the days of actual small pickup trucks, your wait is over. The Hyundai Santa Cruz and Ford Maverick show that few manufacturers are willing to provide a truck bed in a compact pickup. These models may not be as capable as their larger counterparts, but that’s not really the point.
The 2023 Ford Maverick is at home in urban environments, but it’s also ready for some adventure. And you will see the appearance of a traditional pickup truck. For a price of nearly $20k, this vehicle brings quite a bit to the table. The big downside appears to be the ability to actually buy one.
Hopefully, Ford will get some of its supply issues figured out in the near future. According to some reports, people who ordered this compact pickup still feel dark about their vehicle. And understandably, that can be a bit of a frustrating experience.
