Sony has officially announced the upcoming round of free monthly games for PlayStation Plus members, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is also available. Joining the list for January 2023 are Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2. This isn’t the first time each of the monthly games on the list has been huge, and it won’t be the last.

Although, most of the months there is one big game that is considered useful. That’s not the case with next month’s titles, though each one commands a serious following. While Fallout 76 has been growing since launch, it has been improved quite a bit. And when it comes to Axium Verge 2, it’s the follow-up to the popular metroidvania that will hold your attention.

That is, unless you hate metroidvania style games. Either way, all three games this coming month are great pickups. And more often than not it isn’t.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the star of PlayStation Plus for January

While both games are good, the game that shines the most here is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Interestingly, it’s on sale as part of Sony’s holiday sale. You can get the Deluxe Edition version for $7.49. The Deluxe Edition normally costs $49.99, so this is a great deal.

That being said, you may find it unnecessary to purchase the Deluxe Edition. Although at a good price, the Standard Edition is unique. And we don’t blame you there.

The main difference between the two is that the Deluxe Edition comes with two skins that can be used in-game. Crimson BD-1 skin and Crimson Mantis skin. Comes with a picture book and “Director’s Cut” videos with photos of the making of the game.

If none of that matters to you, get this game for free when it launches. The three games will be available free of charge for PlayStation Plus members starting January 3, which is next Tuesday.
