Patricia Ann “Patsy” Ford – The Kansan

Patricia Ann “Patsy” Ford, 84 of North Newton, Kansas, after a battle with Alzheimer’s, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2022. Patricia “Patsy” Ford was born on April 6, 1938, to Andrew and Margaret (Adrian) Boese in Newton, Kansas.

Patricia was a homemaker for many years, where she raised her two sons. He lived his adult life in Marion Kansas until 1976, when the family moved to North Newton, KS.

After leaving her son’s college, she worked for Bethel College Church in North Newton, KS.

He then went to work at Halstead Hospital in Halstead, KS. He worked there until the hospital closed.

After Halstead Hospital, he worked for the Kidron Bethel Village retirement community of North Newton, KS.

Patricia was a loving Mother, Wife, Aunt, Sister, and Daughter. He leaves behind his legacy of hard work, strong work ethic, honesty, loyalty, dedication, and perseverance.

Patricia is survived by her two sons, Lawrence Ray Ford and Roger Dale Ford, her sister Florine Tripp, and Sister-in-Law Barbara Boese, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ray Allen Boese and Donald Lee Boese, and an infant sister Margaret.

Due to Patricia’s wishes, her body was donated to the KU medical school for medical and scientific research. There will be no memorial service held.

The family requests that memorials be made in the form of support contributions to the Hospices listed above or to the Alzheimer’s foundation.
