The holidays are here and the NFL is offering a full schedule of games.
The week begins with “Thursday Night Football” as usual, featuring two teams outside the playoff picture looking in. The New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars sit ninth and tenth in the AFC, and neither would like to. before heading into Christmas with victory.
Speaking of Christmas, which falls on a Sunday this year, Saturday (Christmas Eve) will be replaced as the main day of action in Week 16. The games are scheduled to be Eleven for Dec. between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. Both teams have already secured their playoff spots, but the division lead is on the line.
Three games are scheduled for Christmas Day, with the Green Bay Packers kicking things off in a matinee game on Sunday against the rival Miami Dolphins.
Finally, “Monday Night Football” is set for Boxing Day, with the Los Angeles Chargers visiting the Indianapolis Colts. The Chargers are in a hurry to make the postseason, but a win on Monday would put them one step closer to their goal.
