Harrison Ford Praises Ke Huy Quan Everywhere At Once

Ke Huy Quan’s role in 2022 Everything Everywhere Everything at once brought the actor back to stardom and earned him multiple award nominations. According to legendary actor and former co-star Harrison Ford, an Academy Award nomination would also be well-earned.

Speaking to Variety recently, Ford — who starred in a younger Quan in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom — praised the actor for his role in the hit film A24.

“I had a chance to see the movie,” Ford said. “He is really bad in his movie. And I’m glad to see him … and what he is. I’m so happy for him. He is also a happy person.”

Ford was also touched by the actor’s reunion at this year’s D23 Expo, when the pair were famously seen hugging and then posing for a photo afterwards. Ford said it was “great” to see him, and then talked Everything Everywhere Everything at oncewas told that Quan would “probably” get an Academy Award nomination for the performance, to which Ford replied, “And well deserved! Well deserved.”

Everything Everywhere Everything At Once centers around a Chinese immigrant woman as she discovers the multiverse is real and she can access the skills and lives of other versions of herself. Because of this, he suddenly finds himself in the middle of a wild adventure where he must save the world.

The film stars Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians), Ke Huy Quan (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom), Stephanie Hsu (The Wonderful Mrs. Maisel), Jenny Slate (Gifted), and Harry Shum Jr. (So happy), with James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China) and Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween Kills).

Everything Everywhere Everything At Once was written and directed by directing duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert aka the Daniels. Joe and Anthony Russo are producing through their AGBO banner, along with Ley Line Entertainment and Jonathan Wang. Eli Bush and Mike Larocca are among the executive producers, along with Josh Rudnick, Timothy Headington, and Theresa Steele Page.
