The DCT is butter-smooth and the car is a joy to drive. Fuel efficiency is also very good.
BHPian DriftDevil recently shared it with other enthusiasts.
Hello fellow Team BHPians,
I recently became the owner of a shadow gray Venue N Line N8.
Short facts
- Booked on: Oct 26, 2022
- Delivered on: Nov 28, 2022
- Dealer: Pavan Hyundai (Electronic City, Bangalore)
- Ownership of rides: Ford Fiesta 2008, Ford Figo 2012 Tdci (first car), Ford Freestyle 2020 P T+, Hyundai Venue N Line N8 2022 (Current ride)
Reasons to switch from Ford to Hyundai
Sadly, Ford has left India, and even though there won’t be much issue getting service and parts, I keep in mind that I will have to leave Ford.
Vehicles in dispute
- XUV300 W8 (O) Turbo – Enthusiastic here but lack of a proper automatic and the compromised boot space (family of 5, frequent road trips)
- Nexon XZA+ (P) – Again, lack of proper automatic
- Brezza ZXI+ TC – Lacks power, somehow doesn’t connect with drive and feel, interiors though improved still lack premium appeal
- Venue N Line N8 – Loved the auto transmission, definitely one of the best. The interiors felt premium, drive and feel was quite satisfying, plus add to it the sporty appeal. Sealed the deal for me.
My experience so far
- Drove almost 800kms and it was a fun ride.
- The DCT is buttery smooth and a scream to drive.
- Went on a few highway drives and the ride and handling was exceptional (unlike other Hyundais).
- Mileage is exceptional (17-19km/L).
- Falling in love with the color (not a day goes by that I don’t turn around and just stare in awe at it).
