All Ford F-150 Lightning series come with a 32-amp Ford Mobile Charger that allows drivers to charge from a traditional 120V or 240V outlet. No special stations are required. The extended-range battery comes with the 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro. This allows a maximum charging power of 19.2 kW enabled by dual onboard battery chargers which means a full charge overnight.
As we all know, the weather is often unpredictable. So, in the event of a storm, resulting in a home power outage, the Lightning’s 80-AMP cord can charge by using Ford Intelligent Backup Power. This system acts as a generator to power the home for up to 3 days, and up to 10 days if electricity needs to be rationed.
