The Tata Project has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP) to collaborate and work together towards clean energy solutions.
As part of this effort, clean energy such as room temperature biodiesel produced by CSIR-IIP will be used across some Tata project sites. The partnership will also actively explore the use of green diesel from the DILSAAF (Drop-In Liquid Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Automotive Fuel) pilot plant at CSIR-IIP’s campus in Dehradun and Tata Projects’ on-board commercial scale demonstration unit.
“As part of the Tata Group’s commitment to the planet, our transition to clean renewable energy remains at our core, and we look forward to continued collaboration between academia and industry, to find innovative ways to achieve this goal”, said Vinayak Pai, Managing Director. Tata Projects Ltd.
