Tata Power-DDL Inks MoU with NTPC Business School to Build Skilled Manpower in Power Sector – Asia Pacific

In line with its vision to create a large reservoir of qualified and trained manpower in the power sector, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NTPC Business School.

In line with its vision to create a large reservoir of qualified and trained manpower in the power sector, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NTPC Business School.

This partnership will address the training and human resource development needs of energy distribution personnel, bringing together the expertise and resources of industry leaders in the two countries for the common benefit of the sector.

The MoU was signed by Praveen Agrawal, Head – Human Resources & Industrial Relations, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd and Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran, Director, NTPC School of Business.

With the vision and belief of expanding the trained workforce of the industry and making them future ready, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd and NTPC NSB will organize a series of programs including customized programs, calendar training programs, and advanced training programs. Training programs under the partnership will be designed in line with emerging new technologies and best practices to upgrade skills. Th cooperation also aims to conduct joint training for capacity building for Students of NSB

Commenting on the development, Praveen Agrawal, Head of Human Resources and Industry, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd, said, “At Tata Power Delhi, we are constantly working to create value for the future. Through this association with NTPC, we focus on nurturing and grooming the workforce to make them future oriented. We are hopeful that this initiative will create standards and shape the energy landscape. in the electricity sector.”

Both organizations will jointly train engineers/officers on emerging management technologies. Dominant in the distribution sector such as operation and maintenance, asset management, distribution, eye Smart grid, optimal energy supply, EV charging and more.
