United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak volunteered at a homeless shelter over the Christmas weekend, but a video of his conversation with a man who served him food has been heavily criticized by his political opposition.

Sunak was helping out at a shelter in London on Friday, serving food to the needy. He can be seen dishing out a generous portion while engaging in small talk with a man who says his name is Dean.

After confirming that this isn’t his first time at the shelter, Dean asks Sunak if he’s going to “help the economy.” Sunak said it was what he “really” wanted to do. Dean can be heard saying that this is “best for business”, leading Sunak to ask if Dean works for business.

“No, I’m homeless,” Dean replied. “I’m really a homeless person.”

Dean then said he was interested in business, especially finance. Sunak then noted that he used to work in finance, then talked about how many finance jobs, mainly from London, have moved to other parts of the UK.

“Is that something you want to get into?” Sunak asked.

“I don’t mind,” Dean replied.

“Exciting,” she said.
