Logistics firm Delhiveri on Tuesday announced that it will acquire Pune-based supply chain solutions provider Algorithm Tech to strengthen its offering in this space. Following the completion of the transaction, which is expected to be completed by next month, Algorithm Tech will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, Delhiveri Ltd said, without disclosing the size of the deal.
Founded in 2003. The algorithm offers end-to-end Supply chain planning and execution products for clients in various sectors, such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, steel, automotive and telecommunications.
“Given that Technology is and continues to be our core business differentiator, Algorithm SCM software products will enhance our supply chain solution offerings and also drive cost optimization in service delivery,” said Sandeep Kumar Barasia, CEO and Chief Business Officer at Delhivery Ltd.
Delhiveri said it is ready to start intercity deliveries on ONDC and retailers will be able to access the company’s network of more than 18,000 pin codes.
