Although he only scored one nomination at The Game Awards, Vampire Healing a real game of age struggle. It arrived on Steam in early access a year ago and soon landed on Xbox. Now, you don’t need a Steam Deck or Xbox Cloud Gaming to play it everywhere anytime.
As seen by Polygon, Vampire Healing It’s coming soon to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Unlike the many clones that pop up in stores twice a year, this is the real thing. What’s more, mobile versions are free — Vampire Healing it’s $5 on Steam and is included with Game Pass.
Time suggests that the mobile release will be a surprise announcement at The Game Awards. Perhaps we will soon hear the word of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
For those who don’t know, Vampire Healing asks you to choose a character with a fixed starting weapon and perk, then sends you out to the Castlevania– world development to face an endless stream of enemies (but no vampires, oddly) and stay alive as long as you can. Your weapons are fireballs and all you control is your movement and the ability to choose a weapon, perk or upgrade when you level up. It is very fun, and you can download it on your phone, free, right away. Additionally, you can play the mobile versions in vertical or horizontal mode.
Now, the developer Poncle will release the first payment Vampire Healing extension on December 15. Legacy of Moonspell will cost $2 on Steam and Xbox. It’s no surprise to see the DLC pop up on the iOS and Android versions as well.
