The Vampire Survivors DLC, The Legacy Of The Moonspell launches today on PC and consoles, but the Android version is no doubt about it. But do not worry, since the developer Poncle confirmed in a tweet that it will happen, a little later.
If you’ve been playing Vampire Survivors this week and you’ve got blisters on your fingers, you’re probably not alone. The fiendishly simple gothic rogue-like meets mobile gaming.
RIP your spare time
It’s a very serious game, so you could be forgiven for burning through the content and seeing how much the game has to offer first.
You could be forgiven for thinking that it will take a while for the new port to catch up to the PC release in terms of content. Looks like Poncle is out to try and prove us wrong.
The release date of the Vampire Survivors DLC on Android is not yet confirmed. The word from Poncle is an ‘immediate’ release. You can interpret that statement however you want.
Legacy Of The Moonspell is the first DLC of Vampire Survivors, and as you might expect from the game, it’s a meaty piece.
Further East, Always Burning
The DLC takes you to a feudal setting based in Japan, although as you might expect from Vampire Survivors, the place is full of monsters like its European counterpart.
Legacy Of The Moonspell introduces eight new characters, thirteen new weapons, and a massive new platform. There are twenty-five more levels than ever before, so expect to be there for a while.
The trailer for the DLC on the Poncle Games YouTube channel offers a surreal experience of seeing the Vampire Survivors characters filled with some very beautiful 2D animation, giving their intro a proper anime feel.
We hope to get our port soon, although it may be difficult to get into the base game before it crashes.
