Jamshedpur, November 25: The people of Lal Bhatta, Babudih and Bhuiyandih will soon be able to get power from Tata Steel UISL. This was announced by Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy on Friday.
Roy said that the electricity supply infrastructure in Bagun Nagar, Chhayanagar, Chandinagar and Nirmal Nagar will be completed by January. After that, the locals are willing to get the place and may apply as well. Roy said that within a month, the electronic form connection will also be distributed at Vinoba Ashram in Burmamines.
Roy said that Tata Steel UISL has taken initiatives to provide power to households located near Moharda Main Road. “The final survey has been completed. The process to get NOC from the road construction department for laying power lines in Moharda is underway,” he said.
Roy assured to help the corporate authorities to get NOC without delay to ensure speedy completion of all formalities. He said a dedicated cable would be laid three kilometers from the Tata Steel UISL substation and the substation would be set up near Odiya School to provide power to Moharda area.
The MLA said he was informed about the development by the General Manager of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, Jamshedpur, Shravan Kumar, in a meeting. He said he raised the issue of power supply to all citizens of the area leased by Tata Steel UISL in the Jharkhand Assembly. A committee led by GM Electric has been established for this purpose. The third meeting of the committee was held today. It was joined by Roy.
Roy said that all the overhead lights across the Jamshedpur East constituency will start getting power from Tata Steel UISL within a month. face He added that households in Cable district and Cable Basti in Golmuri will get separate electricity supply.
Roy said that GM assured him of connecting 20 high power mask lamps to the power supply. The company’s work within one month.
