UK-based recruitment company Gravitas Group has acquired R2 Group, a technology recruitment company based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with a turnover of 8 million EUR.
R2’s acquisition follows Grativas’ appointment of Kurt Schreuers as its chief revenue officer in September 2022 and the company’s expansion into Germany with a new Munich office led by Guido Sieber.
Gravitas’ acquisition of R2 further expands the company’s presence in Europe, bringing its global footprint to eight offices in five countries.

The deal includes R2 founder Rick van Eeden and R2 managing partners Jurien van Leeuwen and Marc Prims joining Gravitas’ leadership team.
