It was only 95 years ago today, December 2, 1927, when Ford released its second successful car, the Model A. Within a year, the famous Model T swept America, but the beauty and its luster is gone, it’s time for a changing of the guard. Americans and Europeans are interested in this new model, which comes in nine body styles, very impressive to suit the needs of different families.
Soon, the Model T came out, and the wide selection of Model A, from a small coupe, to a four door town car, became popular, and this time, you had more color options. The Model A is also common even today, as many “Hot Rods” use Model A bodies and frames, even Charlie Ryan’s song “Hot Rod Lincoln”, used the Model A for their inspiration. Not forgetting the Model A and the American gangster scene. Dillinger and others liked the Model A, and used them frequently. 95 years ago today, the Model A drove onto the American road.
What happened yesterday, December 1st?
