Sony’s PlayStation Vita is getting a smart upgrade as a Vita3K Android port is about to be released. A port of the excellent PC emulator of the same name, this new emulator brings much-needed love to Sony’s handheld.
The development of the new Android port started a few months ago. Made by Macdu and supported by the developers of Nintendo Switch emulator Yuzu, it is one of the most interesting projects on Android.
In just a few months, Vita3K Android port has achieved high-quality Vita games. While some are playable, other AAA titles, such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss, are better.
As it turns out, there is an open house for everyone to try. On the website Vita3K, a new listing for the upcoming downloads of the upcoming Android port of the PlayStation emulator has appeared.
Navigating the site’s download page, you can see that a tab has been added for Android Nightclubs. Once the Android port is released, all builds will be available to download here.

Unfortunately, there is currently no release date for the new emulator port. However, judging by the speed of development of the port, it may be available before the end of the year.
On the other hand, we expect an early 2023 release date for Vita3K Android. The new user interface, touch controls and user interface are not ready. Hopefully, that will be ready by the time the emulator releases.
We are very excited for the future of PlayStation Vita emulation on Android. This will not only bring more games to the Android ecosystem, but also allow the legacy of PlayStation’s great handheld to live on.
Personally, we hope that the emulator is enough to play games like Digimon: Cyber Sleuth on Android. Now, it’s scary.
