So, what is Preppycore?
Preppy style has its roots much deeper than the TikTok trend. Named after the style of clothing worn by American private preparatory schools and pre-college kids there in the early part of the last century, preppy style focuses on classic pieces worn casually. A navy blazer with gold buttons, a pastel-colored polo shirt, a pleated skirt and a splash of plaid. It’s versatile with a pinch of posh.

Old Money is more mature and attractive while Preppy is more fun.
