It seems like every time we turn, the Ford F-150 looks different. It changes styles like a pre-teen in middle school. One day something like Crocs came in, then they came out! But luckily, we’re here to help you stay in the loop. See what to expect from the 2024 Ford F-150.
2024 Ford F-150: What to expect

The 2024 Ford F-150 will get mid-cycle updates. It may include new headlights, tail lights, bummers, grills, wheels, and interior tweaks. Plus, the truck might get some tech upgrades, like a new digital gauge cluster and infotainment system as well.
But doesn’t it feel a little fast? The Ford F-150 was redesigned for 2021. The ram 150 was designed for 2019 and still hasn’t had a mid-cycle refresh. Apparently, the F-150 moves faster.
However, a 2024 F-150 model was caught being tested around Dearborn, Michigan. It’s wearing camouflage, but some spy shots still give hints about the new look.
The front and rear ends are covered, so we can assume a new front bumper, grille, headlights, tailgate, rear bummer, and taillight design. Some rumors indicate that the F-150 will have C-shaped headlights to match the small Ford Maverick.
Will the 2024 F-150 have new features?
According to Ford Authority, the 2024 Ford F-150 may get a new multifunction tailgate similar to the setup included in the Ram 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500. Ford filed a patent for a multifunction tailgate in January.
It can slide out like the Ram 1500’s tailgate, allowing you to get close to the bed while loading cargo. Or it can have built-in shelves, steps, and extenders like the GMC Sierra 1500’s tailgate.
The sharp-eyed can spot the array of EPA exhaust tips under the rear bumper. Perhaps this means the F-15 is getting a new setup to be more fuel efficient.
With the current 2.7-liter V6 engine, the F-150 gets an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and up to 26 mpg on the highway. The F-150 Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 25 mpg in the city and on the highway.
There’s a bit of camouflage covering the center stack and parts of the dash. This could indicate that the 2024 F-150 is getting a new layout. There will probably be a new infotainment screen and digital gauge cluster.
Some critics suspect that the Ford Sync 4 software will be replaced by Google. We’re not happy with this idea because Ford Sync is quick and easy to understand.
Will the 2024 F-150 have more power?

Maybe, but no official word on 2024 Ford F-150 powertrain options has been released. There are currently five engines to choose from, so some options can be dropped, changed, or tuned differently.
The standard 3.3-liter V6 engine starts the party with 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque, while the supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine pumps out 700 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque for the Ford F -150 Raptor R.
When the trucks are seen in testing, it can mean that the final design process is almost complete. They may be testing the mechanics to make sure new designs work properly.
So, we may learn more about the 2024 F-150 soon. Stay tuned for latest updates. It is expected to arrive in mid-2023.
