It’s the end of the year which means recaps and wrap-ups, and Sony’s PlayStation Wrap-Up for 2022 features some of this year’s biggest games. What’s really interesting about these things is the data. Seeing how many times players have done something in a specific game.
In Stray, for example, people around the world have more than 1 billion times. If you haven’t played Stray yet, you play as a cat and meowing in the game is not only a cute nod to cats, but it’s also an important step in getting one of achievements of the game and progress in certain times.
In God of War Ragnarok, which launched in November mind you, players have activated Rage Mode about 850 million times. And they hit 599 million hits. Of course, these are good stats to know. The 2022 PlayStation Wrap-Up Shows Your Recorded Hours and More
The fun of these tricks, and this one, is to see how much time you have in your favorite games. Or just see your favorite game of the year. For me, it’s Final Fantasy XIV. The Endwalker expansion was launched in December of last year. That means there’s plenty of time this year to dive into everything the expansion has to offer.
This led to 1,200 hours in that game alone. And that doesn’t even count the number of hours played on the Windows version. Scrolling also shows you how many boxes you have, and what other games you have played. You can see your top 5 games played during the year.
Sony seems to base this on how many hours you’ve logged in each. And when it’s rolled out you can click on each game to see that information along with the total game time per year. When it comes to trophies, a great feature is to show what your first PlayStation game was, and what your latest one is. It’s a great way to remember your time with PlayStation.
