Ambulance bosses have told people not to call 999 except in a “life-threatening emergency” amid severe delays in the North West, which left hundreds waiting for help on Monday night.
The appeal comes amid reports by the North West Ambulance Service advising callers to take their loved ones to hospital by other means.
We want to hear from people across the UK who are affected, including families, GPs and other health professionals who are forced to take someone to hospital because no ambulance is available.
