Indian Hotels Company Ltd in partnership with Tata Power on Tuesday inaugurated an electric vehicle charging station here.

Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) Chairman Arup Kumar Misra, while inaugurating the facility, said that the charging station is more necessary to control the rising pollution levels in the state capital.

Owners of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, need to reserve a slot in the app, and payments can be made online, the company added.
