The November 2022 United States sales numbers are in, and there’s some good news for the new Toyota Tundra. Toyota’s redesigned full-size pickup truck is now entering its second year on the market, and sales are once again above 10,000 trucks per month. This truck was manufactured in San Antonio, Texas. Year-to-Date Tundra sales are also better than in 2021.
The same cannot be said for Ford F-series trucks. This includes the F-150 and the Super Duty pickup trucks. The F-Series nameplate may still be leading the country’s sales, but the numbers are down significantly compared to last year.
Sales of the F-150 Lightning continue to increase. These numbers aren’t huge yet, but Ford has sold 13,258 all-electric pickup trucks so far this year. The F-150 Lightning goes on sale in May 2022.
GM, Nissan, and Rivian did not report sales numbers for November. Most companies report sales on a quarterly basis.
