For several years, the GT Neo series has been one of the most popular models in the mid-range segment. This year is no different as the Realme GT Neo 3T is a flagship phone with a flagship chipset. It has Snapdragon 870 chipset, 120Hz refresh rate, 5000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.
With features and a price like this, it’s the best mid-range phone with Snapdragon 870. But how does the phone fare in real-world specs? Although it is not very different from its predecessor, it is still the best value for money at its price.

Realme GT Neo 3T Price
The starting price of Realme GT Neo 3T is ₹30,000, it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Then there is the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB memory which goes for ₹30,000 / £369 / €430. In the US, this phone is available on Amazon for $559.
There is also a high-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage that goes for ₹34,000. Each model comes in three colors: Dash Yellow, Drifting While, and Shadow Black. Users can easily grab the phone for as low as ₹25,000 by purchasing it on sale or by availing multiple offers on Amazon or Flipkart.
Out of the box, the phone comes with a protective case and an 80W charger, which is great to see in this day and age.
Planning
There is not much to say about the design of the Realme GT Neo 3T. That’s what you’d expect from a Realme phone. However, there is a unique national flag design on the back of the phone (only for the white and yellow variants).
The back is made from a polycarbonate material that resists fingerprints and gives the phone a nice feel. The Realme GT Neo 3T is on the heavy side due to the large screen size, so it’s best to use it uncovered.
Anyone who has not used a Realme phone will immediately recognize the position of the volume and power buttons. Compared to other smartphones, the buttons are placed in the center for easy access. It’s a nice addition, but it may take some getting used to.
Report
The Realme GT Neo 3T features a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display. With a screen like this, watching content on Youtube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. is a great experience. Fortunately, the second camera is located on the left side of the screen, which is invisible when watching videos or playing games. .
It has a 120Hz refresh rate with a sampling rate of 360Hz. Due to this feature, it is better to play at a high framerate, and the programs are comfortable to scroll. The phone has a brightness of 1300 nits, so it’s easy to see the screen clearly, even in broad daylight.
Users can change the UI from dark to light if they use it under direct sunlight. Thanks to HDR10+ support, colors are more accurate than other phones in this range. There are features like 60Hz mode, image enhancement, and video color enhancement.
Realme GT Neo 3T Review
Now we come to the most important feature of the entire GT series, that is, performance. The Realme GT Neo 3T features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which is great for a mid-range phone. In addition to the RAM format, users get 5GB of virtual RAM.
Gamers can easily play the most demanding games with high graphics fidelity without any problem. The Snapdragon 870 chipset is a power-efficient chipset that can provide a smooth gaming experience. There is also a GT mode that boosts CPU and GPU performance if you need it.
We tested games like Genshin Impact, CoD Mobile, and Apex Legends at maxed-out settings. Fortunately, we didn’t experience any frame drops in games, even at high graphics settings. However, the phone gets a little hot during long gaming sessions.
The Realme GT Neo 3T features Realme 3.0 UI based on Android 12 (right out of the box). Unfortunately, it comes with bloatware that can be a little annoying, but the good news is that it can be removed. The Realme 3.0 UI also brings many features to the gaming phone.
Users can use features like Flexible windows, Quick return, Quick launch, Smart Sidebar, Simple mode, and Kid Space. We saw the Smart Sidebar help and were really surprised by the two new features added to the fingerprint scanner. Users can launch apps directly from the scanner and monitor their heart rate using these features.
For audio, the phone’s stereo speakers are excellent, even at high volumes. We didn’t notice much during our Realme GT Neo 3T review period. The phone is also powered by Dolby Audio and offers a loud and clear sound performance. However, it is a shame that the phone does not have a 3.5mm jack.
Camera
The Realme GT Neo 3T features a triple system, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP sensor. The front camera has a better resolution, more reliable in different situations. However, the lack of expansion can be seen due to the lack of image and video recording.
The camera performs well in daylight, but noise is noticeable when taking photos in low light conditions. So far, the camera is the worst we’ve seen for a phone at this price. Then, the Realme GT Neo 3T is not a camera phone, but it serves its purpose.
Battery
The amazing battery life of the Realme GT Neo 3T is one of its main selling points. The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery that can easily last a whole day. For normal daily use, the battery can last from one and a half to two days on 60Hz mode with battery charging.
The Realme GT Neo 3T comes with an 80W Superdart charger that can quickly charge from zero to 100% in just 40 minutes. While playing heavy Android games for an hour, the battery loses about 10% of its charge.
Realme GT Neo 3T Review: Verdict
Realme has really found a good balance between price and performance with the GT Neo 3T smartphone. It should be noted that the smartphone is not much improved from its predecessor. However, the company has combined all the good features from its previous phones to make the best all-around smartphone in the mid-range segment.
Gamers will definitely want to check out the Realme GT Neo 3T for its amazing performance and reliability. If you are looking for a gaming phone under ₹30,000 / $559/ £369/ €430, this is a perfect choice for you.
Realme GT Neo 3T is expected
Summary
The Realme GT Neo 3T is one of the best value-for-money phones around in the mid-range segment. The phone is a great everyday driver at a reasonable price.
