Media Barracks
• Evan Weselyk, 30, of Glen Mills, was arrested in connection with the Dec. 2 kidnapping, according to state police. According to the report, Weselyk, armed with a shotgun, forced a 64-year-old woman from her home in Concord Township. He then took her to different locations to ask family members for money. Aston police arrested but turned the suspect over to state police.
• State police said Dejuan A. Craig, 30, of Wilmington, was cited after he crashed a marked police car that was pursuing him following a retail robbery at the Target in Concord Township. According to the police report, two marked patrol cars with their lights on tried to stop the vehicle, but Craig rammed one of the police cars, then turned around and tried to flee. Both occupants were later taken into custody.
• Nicholette Micucci, 20, of Quakertown, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop for vehicle code violations in Chadds Ford Township on Nov. 27, the police said. Police stopped Route 202 at Dilworthtown Road at 3:29 am
• Police are investigating the theft of a package from the John Farm Lane Apartments in Concord Township on Dec. 2. The package contained a thumb brace and a black flashlight with a total estimated value of $100.
• Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an incident in which a man was found masturbating in his car in an open parking lot. The man has been identified as James Lipford, 31, of Philadelphia, according to police. One report said that Lipford was parked directly next to a woman who observed the man performing the act of masturbation. The suspect is also being investigated for two previous incidents involving the same accusations. The incident happened on Oct. 26 in a parking lot at Route 1 and Evergreen Drive in Concord Township.
• Police are investigating the theft of empty cigarette display cases from the Wawa on Naaman’s Creek Road in Concord Township. The incident happened on October 29.
Avondale Barracks
• Steve M. McFalls, 63, of Coatesville was charged with DUI following a one-vehicle crash on Doe Run at DuPont Road in West Marlborough Township on Nov. 3, a police report said. According to that report, McFalls was driving north on Doe Run when he lost control and veered into the southbound lane, struck a PennDOT sign, and ended up in a ditch. He was transported by EMS from Modena Fire Co. to Chester County Hospital for suspected injuries.
• On Dec. 1 at 5:12 p.m., state police were dispatched to Walmart in East Marlborough Township for a report of shoplifting. Two teenage girls, 16 and 15 years old were arrested for stealing cosmetics. No other details have been released.
• Alexander Hancock, of Kennett Township, was arrested on charges of indecent exposure in East Marlborough Township on Oct. 29, according to a police report. The report said Hancock admitted to flashing his penis and was taken into custody. No other details of the incident have been reported.
• An unidentified driver was cited for following too closely following a rear-ender accident on Lenape Road in Pennsbury Township on Nov. 17. Police say the driver hit another vehicle that had stopped for a light at the intersection of Routes 52 and 926.
• State police arrested the driver of a Porsche Cayenne for DUI at S. Broad and Juniper streets on Dec. 2. No other details of the incident were in the report.
• Police say a 17-year-old boy from Kennett was arrested for making terroristic threats at Unionville High School on Nov. 29. The investigation is ongoing.
Kennett Square Police Department
• Borough police said Collin Watson, 21, of Kennett Square was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and other related charges, following an argument in which he allegedly shoved two victims while threatening various form of violence against them. The incident occurred on Nov. 28, at approximately 8:06 am, in the 500 block of Magnolia Street. Criminal charges were filed.
• Kevin Osborne, 59, of Nottingham, was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and related charges, following an incident in which two male subjects were fighting, according to a police report. The incident happened on Nov. 26 at approximately 12:41 pm, in the 400 block of South Union Street. Police said it was later reported that Osborne was sending threatening text messages to the homeowner at the time and traveled to the residence, where an argument ensued. Osborne was advised by KSPD earlier this year that he was not allowed on the property. Osborne was taken into custody and transported to the Chester County Prison to be arraigned.
