Police are searching for a man who may be connected after three attempted kidnappings in Manchester this month, including one that targeted a 15-year-old girl.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage as they investigate a possible string of linked crimes.
In one incident, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) responded to the parents of a 15-year-old schoolgirl who said she had been approached by a man at a bus stop in Salford on Monday evening.
The man is believed to have physically advanced towards the teenager before trying to force her into his car, which is described as a dark hatchback.
GMP say they have made a possible link between that incident and two other incidents in other areas of Salford thanks to CCTV footage.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the three separate times and locations.
The first is on November 21 between 6pm and 7pm around Rocky Lane, Monton Green and Monton High Street.
The second is the area of Mossfield Road and Acworth Road, Swinton, between 8pm and 9pm on November 21 and the third is Liverpool Street, between Fitzwarren Street and Albion Way in Salford between 7.45pm and 8.20pm on November 16.
Detective Inspector Chris Horsfield, of Salford Division, said: “The victims have been left very shaken by this encounter and it is vital that we identify this man as soon as possible.
“We believe the person we want to speak to may be driving a dark colored hatchback car but we need to review the dashcam footage to identify the make, model and registration plate.”
