The two-day physical event, the largest such initiative on the oil and gas industry by The Economic Times, is being held this year at the Taj Palace Hotel from December 5-6.
The event is organized by ET in partnership with AG&P, Shell, Pipeline Infrastructure Ltd, Tubacek, SENSIT Technologies, South Asia Gas Enterprise, Copperleaf, Seros Energi, GarudaUAV, Indian Gas Exchange and Jiotech. It is the ultimate platform for industry leaders to discuss and debate some of the most pressing challenges of the gas industry, sharing experiences from their respective domains.
The event comes at a time when the government has taken major policy steps to boost investor sentiment in the oil and gas industry to boost domestic manufacturing in India, bring price clarity and ensure access to energy for the masses.
Puri, who is the chief guest of the Conclave, would set the tone for the discussion in his speech, kicking off the inauguration here in the presence of top executives, policy makers, industry executives, public sector officials, researchers and other key stakeholders belonging to the gas industry.
Apart from Puri, the inaugural session will feature keynote addresses by Ashutosh Karnatak, Member, Petroleum & Natural Gas, APTEL and former CMD, GAIL India; and RK Srivastava, Director (Exploration) and CMD (additional charge), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC).
Key highlights on the first day include special addresses by Vartika Shukla, CMD, Engineering India, and Rohit Pandey, Country Manager, India, Copperleaf Technologies, apart from two Fireside Chats with Akhil Mehrotra, MD & CEO, Pipeline Infrastructure and DP Srivastava, Hon. fellow of the Vivekananda International Foundation and former Indian ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The first day of the event will also feature four panel discussions on the topics – Fueling Economic Growth and Energy Security through Gas Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty, India’s Gas Infrastructure: Making the Most of the $66 Billion Opportunity, City Gas Distribution: Scaling Up Progress and Accelerating India’s E&P Potential : What does the future hold?.

The first day of the event would also see ET Annual Gas Awards 2022 in the evening, which will begin with a special address by the Chairman of the Jury, Anil Razdan, former Secretary – Ministry of Power and former Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources. Turn off. An awards ceremony will follow, closing the curtains on Day One.
Day 2 (December 6) would begin with a keynote address by VK Saraswat, Member, Niti Aaiog on policy prescriptions for turning India’s dream of developing a hydrogen economy into a reality, followed by three exclusive panel discussions on – Hydrogen in India’s Energy Mix : Coming up to 5 MT by 2030; LNG Market Outlook – Time to Reassess; and Decarbonisation of hard-to-reduce sectors: new fuels, old aspirations.
Other key events on day two include individual presentations/addresses by Daniele Fogale, EMEA Director, SENSIT; Deepak Mehta, Head – Business Development, Indian Gas Exchange; and Anit Mishra, vice president of GarudaUAV Soft Solutions.
