It’s melting
A new feature that we have released allows players to watch streams that are playing our games directly on Riot Mobile. Featured channels are selected from the League Partner Program, and the rest are selected from the menu. Today, the version supports Twitch streams, but we will expand to support other streaming services (like AfreecaTV) in the future.
Communication & Social
Back in October, we sent a live update to improve the design of the chat and friend list after evaluating feedback from players on the chat experience.
Here are some of the improvements we’ve made:
-
Copy and paste game name and nickname from Profile for easy sharing with friends
-
Updated message color scheme to improve accessibility
-
Added a new section to make it easier to add/accept friends
-
Improved communication performance, such as reducing broadcast delays and delayed messages
Esports
In August, we sent a major overhaul of the esports section, which included the ability to watch VALORANT and Wild Rift esports on Riot Mobile and a plethora of new content in the newsfeed. Now you can check the schedule, watch past games, and watch live games on the go. You can earn prizes by watching selected games on your phone.
What’s next for Riot Mobile?
More games are why people come to Riot Mobile. That’s why we want to make sure that you get the games and content that you enjoy. In the coming months, you’ll find your newsfeed tailored to your interests in games and esports as we implement custom feeds based on your gaming habits and engagement.
