Saturday is the new Sunday – at least this week in the NFL.
Because Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, the league has changed its usual schedule of games to Saturday, which means Friday. That means a one-day tournament festival for football fans to dig into, starting at 1 pm ET.
While there are many options between early kick-offs, the biggest game of the day is the 4:25 pm ET game between the Eagles and Cowboys. The NFC East rivals have already locked up their playoff spots, but pride and supremacy between two of the league’s best teams remains on the line.
The day ends with the Raiders vs. Steelers, showing two teams that are expected to be behind the season hanging on a string.
