HARTFORD, Ky. — Lisa Crow Ford, 58, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, at Ohio County Hospital. Lisa was born on December 21, 1963, to Bill and Faye Crow.
Lisa is a dedicated worker. She worked for the Ohio County Board of Education as a bus monitor, lunch lady, preschool monitor, night janitor, and school-age childcare teacher throughout her time on the Board. He touched the lives of many children who walked through the doors of any Ohio County school for over 20 years.
He loved each of his children and continued to root for them even after they graduated. Lisa also worked as a cashier at a Beaver Dam Walmart.
For anyone who knew Lisa, they knew she loved to laugh and many would say if she wasn’t joking with them they would think she was mad at them. He has a sense of humor.
Lisa loves her family. She raised three daughters and was active in her grandchildren’s lives. His grandchildren were the light of his life. You can’t have a conversation where he won’t definitely talk about them. She is also a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt.
Lisa was predeceased by her father, Bill Crow. His brother David Crow. Her nephew, Hunter Moseley. His grandparents; Charles and Miss Crow, James Smith, and Martha and Charles Simpson.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Faye Crow; three daughters, Erica (Carol) Ford, Brooke Ford, and Melanie (Jacob) Williams; grandchildren, Callie Ford, Athena Ford, Charlie Williams, and Chandler Williams; grandsons, Isaac Woodson and Elijah Ford; sister, Tina (Bill) Moseley; niece, Savanna (Drew) Vaughn; nephews, Heath (Julie) Moseley, Kurt (Amanda) Moseley, and Kanyon (Allie) Moseley; nieces, Presleigh Janes, Breeleigh Vaughn, Lexi Moseley, Addison Moseley, Scarlett Moseley, Aaralynn Moseley, and Wrenleigh Moseley; and great-nephew Everette Moseley.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Bro. David Wood is in charge. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends may visit the family from 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday and from 9 am to 1 pm Wednesday.
