Indian Hotels Corporation (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality company, has installed 224 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 92 locations.
These EV charging points, in partnership with Tata Power, are available across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, Ginger and Amã Stays & Trails properties across the country.
These chargers are accessible by guests staying at various Indian hotels.
This initiative is in line with Paathya, the company’s ESG+ framework (Environment, Society, and Governance) to drive sustainability measures and social impact.
Management is committed to making sustainability measures easily accessible to customers.
With a long-term vision of driving responsible tourism, Hotels India has announced its sustainability commitment for 2030 under the Paathya initiative.
IHCL shares were trading at Rs 322.60, up 0.19 percent, at 3:30 pm on Friday.
The Tata group of corporates has added nearly 120 hotels to its pipeline. Send water and many other places are now open for service.
