Holiday traditions in pictures
Posted by Rich Schwartzman on November 27, 2022

: Feliz Navidad. Dancers take part in the annual Light Parade in Kennett Square on Black Friday.
Thanksgiving weekend brings holiday traditions, like trains, parades, and Santa Claus. Here’s what it looks like.

In addition to Santa, the Kennett parade carries a giant mushroom that will be dropped on New Year’s Eve to carry into 2023.

The train display was colorful this year.

While the BRM train display fascinates children of all ages, as well as boys and girls, the dollhouse, circa 1900, can be just as fascinating, more so because no one knows who did it.

Who is a beautiful woman? Of course, Stella. Stella Orloff, a 14-month-old beagle from Chadds Ford, let Santa know she’s been good and what she wants for Christmas during Santa’s visit to Olde Ridge Village on Saturday.
