These titles won Google Play’s Indie Games Festival
Looking for new games to pick up and play this weekend? Google has wrapped up its month-long Indie Games festival, announcing ten winning titles from Europe, Japan, and South Korea. Take a look and see if you like any of these numbers.
Winners are drawn from fields of twenty finalists from each region with the top three chosen by a combination of casual players, industry veterans, and a panel of judges. with a single match from all pools available to a user-selectable user. Winning studios will receive various prizes and promotions to help increase their visibility on the Google Play Store.
Below are the winning games with links to their Play Store pages and a quick synopsis for each:
Europe
Combine a prison mission to save your brother from danger with 100 levels of puzzle rooms and you’ve got it. The dungeons of Dreadrock. It’s a great work from the German developer Cristoph Minnameier whose other project published on the Play Store is a sleep monitor and food for babies.

The title gives away a lot of the game, but if you like broad-stroke cartoon aesthetics, you’ll enjoy this game if you have it – you may need to fire up the VPN and go to a local server in order to to get a hold of one of these.
Gpicrew did it The Missing Pages – The Beginning of the Bridle as a vehicle-driven building roguelike, that means you’ll need to plan successfully to defeat your well-designed enemies.
A game that hasn’t reached the Play Store right now is the simple but addictive IM GAME THE BESTwhere players compare their hearts and minds to choose the group that has the most colored dots out of the jumble.
