West Virginia wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton announced on Twitter that he is declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft after five seasons in Morgantown.
I came to WVU in 2018 eager to continue the family tradition of rooting for the old Gold and Blue. I’m aware that I have big shoes to fill, but of course, I’m up for the challenge.
“During my years at WVU, I crossed paths with many different coaches who taught me valuable lessons on the field and off, making me a better player and most of all, a better great man
With my teammates, there are times when we are at the top of the mountain, as well as times when we are at rock bottom (eg rep 10 of Law School Hill). The one thing that has remained constant is our love and support for each other. Ya’ll will always be by brothers.
Last but not least, to the Mountaineer Nation, thank you for your unwavering support these five years. Getting settled on Saturday knowing I represent 1.8 of the most loyal fans in college sports is a blessing.
Because of this, I have decided to forgo my final season of eligibility and declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.
