MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — After five years as a Mountaineer, Bryce Ford-Wheaton is ready to test his skills at the professional level. Ford-Wheaton announced Wednesday afternoon that he will enter the 2023 NFL Draft.

Ford-Wheaton redshirted in 2018 and has one year of eligibility remaining due to the 2020 COVID season.
The Fuquay-Varina, NC native led West Virginia in receptions (62) and receiving touchdowns (7) this fall. His 675 receiving yards trailed only Sam James on the Mountaineer roster. Ford-Wheaton has caught at least two passes in all 12 games this season. He posted season-highs in receptions (11) and receiving yards (152) in the Big 12 opener vs. Kansas.
Ford-Wheaton played in 46 games at West Virginia. He caught 143 passes for 1,867 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Ford-Wheaton was invited to compete in the annual East-West Shrine Game, along with teammate Dante Stills.
