Pi Network Co-Founders Bring Vision to Podcast
The Pi Network has been organically growing to over 30 million users for over three years. As of December 2021, many users expected the official arrival on the main network, but due to constant delays, users are still waiting.
Following the launch of the attached mainnet in December 2021, a major post on the Pi Core team blog came in March 2022, updating the community and detailing the progress of the mainnet. This blog post predicts the arrival of the open mainnet in March or June 2022.
Now, in December 2022, many in the Pi community are looking for answers. The closed mainnet is taking longer than expected due to KIC issues. And the wait could be longer.
A recent interview with Pi Network co-founders Nicholas Kokalis and Chengdiao Fan on the CRIPTO 101 podcast didn’t raise spirits of coming to the main network. Check out the excerpt in the tweet below where Fan predicts the progress of the following two to three years on the vision of the Pi network.

Edicabasan active member of the Pi Network community, also gives a pessimistic view of the project in the next six months.
Another reason many projects become concerned is the lack of a fiat connection to the Pi network. Many projects find it difficult to raise funds, legitimize their projects and build communities without access to funding.
“Because Pi has no value during the mainnet shutdown, and the exchange of legal currency is also prohibited.” And the opening time of the main network is unknown, so all application development teams are facing a common problem, the problem of funds,” a Pi Chain Mall team member told BSC News.
Recent problems with the validator have also started to cause headaches for many veterans and avid pioneers.
To their credit, the Pi Network Core Team was in communication with the Pi community at all times. There are even Core team members designated as contacts for large Pi projects. There was transparency.
And through it all, many members of the Pi community persevere and persevere through market conditions.

With millions of members and empty promises of real-world utilities, many projects and users are still plagued by constant delays. Another major update from the Pi Networks team could do well to ease the community’s concerns.
