Chandigarh, December 3, 2022: Department of Industries and Commerce, Punjab in collaboration with SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) organized an awareness program on SIDBI Scheme for MSMSEs, TReDS Scheme and Solar Energy, on December 2, 2022 at Mohali Industries Association Bhawan.
Mr. Phongjap Dilip Guma, Secretary General, Department of Industry and Trade, chaired the meeting. A regular guest.
On this occasion, the Secretary General informed that the Punjab government has signed an MOU with SIDBI to help businesses SMEs benefit from SIDBI and other GOI programs.
He called on the political industry to benefit from these projects, and to ensure possible support. from the government.
Meanwhile, General Manager, SIDBI explained various schemes available for MSMEs & RXIL and highlighted the benefits of TReDS platform.
The team of Tata Energy explained the nature of solar energy installed by the Tata group in the state leading to the use of green energy under the scheme of SIDBI.
The event was attended by officials of the Punjab Industries and Commerce Department, SIDBI, and 100 plus MSMEs from SAS Nagar, Roopnagar, Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib and SBS Nagar.
