ASPHL is working with Tata Power to include these fleet charging facilities for four-wheelers
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited is gearing up for a nationwide sustainability initiative by encouraging the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EV) across the city. All brands under ASPHL (THE Park Hotels, THE Park Collection, Zone by The Park, and Zone Connect) are installing on-site public charging infrastructure – as part of the company’s positive initiatives, ASPHL is working with Tata Power to integrate these. On-board charging facilities for four-wheelers, which makes the group one of the leading hotel chains to adopt EVs across the country.
Tata Power has developed a user-friendly mobile app, enabling EV consumers to find charging stations, which can be booked in advance, or on demand, including the same payment. ASPHL’s existing hotels in each city will also be a part of this application across the country. While cities occupy only 2% of the earth, the climate impact and footprint is immeasurable in terms of energy consumption, and CO2 emissions. Battery and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles will guide the future that will affect the economy, the environment environment and energy conservation.
