Amazon Luna is getting a new trick today that will benefit owners of Ubisoft games on PC. The service allows you to stream Ubisoft PC games through Luna. Adding this new feature expands Luna’s capabilities to those who want to try it out. And although it is similar to the service Ubisoft + available through Luna, it is not the same.
Amazon says that select PC games are available to stream. So you can’t stream your entire Ubisoft library. There are other warning signs to look out for.
To stream Ubisoft PC games on Luna, you need them
For clarification, this feature is aimed at Luna subscribers who do not have a subscription to the Ubisoft+ multi-access plan. However, the acquisition allows the ability to stream new Ubisoft+ titles. So if you like Ubisoft games, you might want to check out Ubisoft+. That being said, a Ubisoft+ account is not required.
The goal of Amazon and Ubisoft here is to increase the capacity of Luna for those who want to play PC games that they have through the cloud. You must subscribe to the Luna+ channel or the Prime channel. But the Prime channel is part of a Prime subscription, and the Luna + channel is less than a Ubisoft + multi-access plan. So, it’s a fair offer.
You must add your Ubisoft account to your Manager account to unlock access. And the games you want to play, if they are available, must be purchased from the Ubisoft store. Ubisoft games purchased from Steam or other third party vendors are not counted. So keep that in mind.
As for the available games, names like Far Cry 6, Uno, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are just games. But it’s more likely that Ubisoft and the Luna team will add new titles as they go.
