Gamescom is currently underway, and we were able to go hands-on with the games on the show floor. Although Gamescom’s mobile games were only a small part of it, there were plenty of interesting mobile-centric titles to try out.
We’ve picked the six funniest games at Gamescom. In addition to Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update, which you can play now, these are games that we will be keeping an eye on for the rest of the year while waiting for their full release.
Wreckfest Mobile
Wreckfest, the derby-themed drag racing game, is coming to mobile. Although it was announced last week, Gamescom was our first chance to give an early alpha build a try. It’s the same as the PC and console versions, and if you have an Android device, it will play the same. Although the touch controls are a little small, the game’s overall performance is impressive, considering the heavy lifting that went into Wreckfest’s soft-body model.

Tower of Fantasy Vera 2.0
The Gacha/MMO hybrid Tower of Fantasy is set to release worldwide in August 2022, but the first free expansion is just around the corner. Called Vera, it was first announced today at Gamescom. It might be difficult to upgrade if you’ve already started Tower of Fantasy, but you have some time before the expansion starts later this year.
Vera is the name of the new cyberpunk-themed section in the game, which introduces new monsters, weapons, levels, quests, events, and more. You can test the area with friends, like the rest of the game.
Genshin Impact Sumeru

Train: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail is considered by some to be the first major competitor to Genshin Impact, although, on the surface, it is similar, and for good reason, it is made by the same company, HoYoverse . However, thanks to unique features such as its turn-based combat system, Honkai Star Rail may be on its way to becoming the best gacha game on Android when it’s released.
