2024 Ford Mustang Specs Revealed: GT Packs Up to 486 HP, Dark Horse 500 HP

One of the most anticipated new cars next year is the 2024 Ford Mustang, and while many details were withheld from the presentation, we finally have the power figures. Starting with the entry-level 2.3-liter EcoBoost, which is a new engine despite the same capacity as the old one, it puts out 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque when running on premium fuel. The Mustang GT features a fourth-generation 5.0-liter Coyote V8, which generates up to 486 hp (362 kW / 493 PS) and 418 lb-ft (566 Nm) of torque with an active exhaust. Finally, the Dark Horse delivers 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 418 lb-ft (566 Nm) of torque.

Effectively replacing the D8 GTO is Donkervoort’s latest creation: the F22. A clean design, the new car maintains a visual connection with previous offerings from the Dutch brand, with an aggressive open-wheel appearance. The car also features butterfly doors, full-LED lighting, and a removable twin targa carbon-fiber roof. Power comes from a 492 hp (367 kW / 500 PS) Audi 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine.

The latest Toyota Prius has been almost universally accepted as a better-looking replacement to its predecessor, with some impressive performance stats to back it up. But a new generation comes with a higher price, up to almost $3,000 more. The outgoing 2022 version features the entry-level $25,075 L Eco, but the new 2023 Prius range starts at $27,450 LE, excluding a $1,095 destination charge. Those wanting more luxury can opt for the Prius XLE ($30,895) and XLE AWD ($32,295).
Elantra N Owner Says Hyundai Came In After Police Told Him To Sue Dealer Over Stock Exhaust

Remember how a California police officer pulled over and then ticketed a driver for his loud exhaust in an allegedly stock Hyundai Elantra N sedan? The matter still doesn’t appear to be resolved, but Hyundai seems to have stepped in to help the owner’s case with the state. In addition to testing the vehicle and confirming that there was nothing wrong with it, the company paid the driver $500 and gave him a loner. Hyundai appears to be going toe-to-toe with the state, with a February 23rd court date set.
